Mental health counseling can help patients experiencing self-sabotage, indecision, depression, anxiety, creative blocks, ADD/ADHD, or the effects of trauma. Coaching can support effectively navigating life’s changes, time management, clearing clutter, making space for what matters, and living a more artful life.
Carolyn Koehnline, MA, CJT
I have been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and I have had a private psychotherapy practice in Bellingham since 1992. I work with adults who are navigating life changes, and those who are experiencing self-sabotage, indecision, depression, anxiety, creative blocks, ADD, and the effects of trauma. When it feels helpful, I include Emotional Freedom Technique, EMDR and other helpful tools and techniques.
I am also the creator of Gentle Approach Coaching. I have extensive experience teaching groups and supporting individuals to creatively clear clutter, manage time, and navigate other practical dilemmas of daily living. I am a Certified Journal Therapist and use brief, focused writing techniques and other creative modalities in all my work. I love sharing simple tools that can make a big difference.
I have written three books: Confronting Your Clutter, The Bear’s Gift, and Clearing Clutter as a Sacred Act.
In my free time I love to write, walk and make music and art.
